The NordArt exhibition area includes the former Carlshutte foundry (22,000 square meters), the ACO Wagenremise (400 square meters), as well as the historical park (80,000 square meters) and public areas of Budelsdorf town.
The opening ceremony of the NordArt was held on June 4, with more than artworks at the NordArt, one of the largest juried exhibition of 3,000 visitors, international artist and members of the press in attendance.
The Kunstwerk Carlshutte, a non-profit cultural initiative, has been annually organizing the NordArt during summer months. The NordArt is recognized as one of the largest exhibitions of contemporary art in Europe.
