The Ulaanbaatar Marathon, which will be organized through the Friendly Ulaanbaatar program, will start from Chinggis Square on June 4. The 42.195 km marathon is open to foreign and local marathon runners above the age of 18. The registration closed on June 2 as personal information of participants have to be submitted online as the runners are to be tracked by an automated chip. The registration for local runners will be confirmed with the submission of 20,000 MNT. A marathon badge, a T-shirt, a map, an introductory material, and a towel will be given to participants. You can register on www.ub-marathon.ub.gov.mn, or file an application at the Ulaanbaatar Physical Education and Sports Department office and verify your registration after submitting the payment receipt.
