The Ulaanbaatar Transportation Office, Traffic Police Department, and Ulaanbaatar Road Development Office have built 13 new bus stops in the capital to improve public transportation services.
These bus stops were built with financing from the Ulaanbaatar Road Fund. Officials said that changes are being made to 26 bus routes and that the new routes will become operational on December 1.
The following bus stops have become ready for commissioning:
- Bogd-Ar Town bus stop (west) on Khatanbaatar Magsarjav Street in Bayangol District
- Bogd-Ar Town bus stop (east) on Khatanbaatar Magsarjav Street in Bayangol District
- Khermes Shopping Center bus stop (west) on the Sun Street in Bayangol District
- Khermes Shopping Center bus stop (east) on Sun Street in Bayangol District
- Emimpex bus stop (north) on Sun Street in Bayangol District
- Emimpex bus stop (south) on the Sun Street in Bayangol District
- Petrovis Petrol Station bus stop (south) on Sun Street in Bayangol District
- Mongolia International University bus stop (west), located between Officers’ Palace and Chuluun Ovoo bus stops on the west side of Etuch Street in Bayanzurkh District
- Mongolia International University bus stop (east), located between Officers’ Palace and Chuluun Ovoo bus stops on the east side of Etuch Street in Bayanzurkh District
- Mongolian National Defense University bus stop (west) on Ulaan Khuaran Road in Bayanzurkh District
- Mongolian National Defense University bus stop (east) on Ulaan Khuaran Road in Bayanzurkh District
- Monel Bus Terminal, on Monel Street in Bayanzurkh District
- Selkh 1 bus stop, located on Selkh Street in Sukhbaatar District
