President Kh.Battulga held unannounced visits to children’s hospitals of Bayangol and Bayanzurkh districts, and the Military Hospital on Sunday to oversee their operations. Mothers cradling their sick children at the Children’s Hospital of Bayanzurkh District told the President that many sick children are returning home due shortage of hospital beds. A nurse of the hospital reported that nearly 300 children visit the hospital a day, and the hospital admits only around 10 children with a bad case of flu a day due a shortage beds and gives consultation to the others who come in. During his visit to the Military Hospital, the President stated that as there are a lot of empty beds for adults in the hospital, in response to the flu season, the hospital should use some wards as temporary children’s wards.
