The fourth consular consultative meeting of the foreign affairs ministries of Mongolia and Turkey was held in Ulaanbaatar on February 28. Director of the Consular Department of the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ya.Ariunbold and Director General for Consular Affairs at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mehmet Samsar chaired the meeting. During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of consular relations between the two countries, issues with respects migration of citizens of both countries, protection of people’s rights, implementations of agreements established by the two nations and other issues. The delegates agreed that outcomes from this consultative meeting will help strengthen consular relationship between the two nations, and support moving forward with several issues regarding bilateral relationship. The Turkish delegates were received by State Secretary of the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren to talk about some issues in terms of relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Turkey.
