Lawmaker J.Bat-Erdene speaks to media

Nearly 10 lawmakers led by N.Nomtoibayar and J.Bat-Erdene announced that they put forward a proposal to establish a temporary committee to review the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) loan misappropriation to Speaker of Parliament M.Enkhbold on November 21.

N.Nomtoibayar noted that as the government and Parliament did not hold proper accountability to officials who misappropriated assets of the Fund to Develop SME and engaged in SME loan misappropriation, the lawmakers are seeking to form the temporary committee.

The lawmaker said the public discontentment over the loan misappropriation will not be addressed without bringing those who engaged in the SME loan misappropriation to justice.
