Kindergartens in Ulaanbaatar will begin registering children between the ages of two and five via online at 9:00 a.m. on July 22.

This is the third year kindergartens are using an online registration system. Parents and guardians should visit www.tsetserleg.ulaanbaatar.mn website to register their two to five-year-olds before midnight on August 22.

Authorities announced that during this period, they will reexamine and verify registrations of children who were registered or enrolled in kindergartens in previous years.

A text message confirming the registration will be sent to the submitted phone number. Parents and guardians can also check from the aforementioned website in the “Check” section.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, six new kindergartens were built and another six were expanded with state, city, district and international funds. As a result, the total kindergarten capacity was raised by 2,140 vacancies. The authorities also put kindergartens that weren’t being used into operation and opened nine new ger kindergartens, improving children’s enrolment to kindergarten to 80.1 percent.
