Mongolian judokas are preparing for the Dusseldorf Grand Slam 2020, set to be held from February 21 to 23 in Germany.
A total 776 judoka from 121 countries registered to participate in the Dusseldorf Grand Slam this year. Mongolian athletes trained for a while in Paris, after participating at the Paris Grand Slam 2020, held on February 8 and 9 in Paris.
Judoka D.Sumiya (women’s 57 kg) is the sole second place winner of Mongolia from the Grand Slam, while M.Urantsetseg, D.Amartuvshin, Yo.Baskhuu and Ts.Tsogtbaatar earned bronze in women’s 48 kg and men’s 60 kg, 66 kg and 73 kg.
Before the Dusseldorf Grand Slam 2020, some Mongolian judokas will battle in other competitions.
