In accordance with the Law on State Audit and Law on Election, the Mongolian National Audit Office (MNAO) reviews action plans of political parties, coalitions and independent candidates leading up to the parliamentary election.

On April 6, the MNAO announced that action plans of eight political parties and four coalitions seeking to participate in the upcoming election were sent back for revision.

The parties and coalitions re-submitted their revised action plans to the MNAO within the stated deadline.

The MNAO will introduce its final report on the parties' action plans next week. The final report will be submitted to the General Election Commission before April 25.

Moreover, action plans of independent candidates reviewed by the MNAO will be submitted to the General Election Commission before May 22.
