In accordance with the Law on Parliamentary Election, election committees of provinces and the capital city for the 2020 regular elections were established on April 14.

A joint election committee was formed for Dundgovi and Govisumber provinces, while other 19 provinces and the capital city’s election committees are being established separately.

From April 10 to 17, the General Election Commission (GEC) has registered civil servants and employees who requested to work in election committees. Some 11,979 state employees have registered and are undergoing e-training organized by the GEC.

Some 171 people out of the registered people will be selected to work in 19 election committees. Each committee will have nine members.
