Resolution on e-transition presented to speaker


          Lawmakers handed over the bill and resolution on e-transition to Speaker of Parliament G.Zandanshatar on April 23 and 24.

On April 23, lawmakers B.Battumur, J.Munkhbat, M.Oyunchimeg, J.Ganbaatar, Z.Narantuya, Kh.Nyambaatar, B.Choijilsuren and L.Munkhbaatar delivered the draft resolution on measures to ensure financial and economic stability, prevent risks and execution of e-transition due to the COVID-19 pandemic to Speaker of Parliament G.Zandanshatar.

Chief of the Cabinet Secretariat L.Oyun-Erdene handed over the draft bill on amendments to the Law on the Government of Mongolia on the same day. The bill was drafted as part of efforts to harmonize laws and regulations with the amendments to the Constitution of Mongolia on April 24.

The Law on the Government of Mongolia has 38 articles, and in accordance with the amendments to the Constitution, four articles and provisions of the law have been amended, two sections and one provision have been added, and four sections have been repealed.
On the same day, lawmakers D.Lundeejantsan, J.Batzandan, S.Byambatsogt, Kh.Nyambaatar, D.Oyunkhorol, B.Saranchimeg, Ya.Sanjmyatav, Ya.Sodbaatar and D.Togtokhsuren handed over the revision of the Law on Parliamentary Procedure.

In accordance with the amendments to the Constitution of Mongolia, the revision of the law was drafted with 14 chapters and 126 articles.

The revision outlines the procedure for organizing the first session of Parliament, the appointment of the prime minister, the prime minister's presentation on the appointment of members of Cabinet, and oath taking of members of the government.
