The “best households” that contributed to the development of the capital city and serve as an example for the next generation have been jointly selected by the Ulaanbaatar City Council and the Ulaanbaatar Committee for the Elderly for the 27th year. The award ceremony was held on October 5.

On the occasion of International Day of Older Persons and National Seniors Day of Mongolia, the “Golden Autumn – Elderly Farmer” contest has been held for the fourth year. Nine senior farmers of the capital city were awarded the Order of the Golden Wheat and the Badge of Honor of the Ulaanbaatar Committee for the Elderly.

The award was handed over by Deputy Ulaanbaatar Mayor in charge of the Social Sector, Green Development and Air and Environmental Pollution Z.Tumurtumuu, Secretary of Ulaanbaatar City Council B.Batbyamba and Head of the Ulaanbaatar Committee for the Elderly T.Dashnyam.
