The Ulaanbaatar Environment Department informed that a green park will be constructed to increase the flow of Tuul River and its streams and stop soil erosion and sand migration. In the first phase, 1,200 trees will be planted in a one-hectare area. These trees reduce soil pollution and hold the water and moisture balance well, so it is considered suitable for planting near river valleys and basins to increase flow.

The green park construction will be done by a professional between May 10 and June 10. The total budgeted cost is 50 million MNT, and the funding will come from the budget of the Ulaanbaatar Fund. This park will be the standard model of the green park to be built in Ulaanbaatar and it will start with the mapping of the area and the use of technology.
