Mongolian athletes are competing in the 11th Asian Age Group Championship held in New Clark, the Philippines. The 11th Asian Age Group Championship is a highly anticipated and reputable swimming event that brings together young swimmers from Asia. Among the athletes from Mongolia, the “We Aquatics Club” athlete and the International Master, E.Erkhes, who trained under the guidance of coach Kh.Batbold, qualified for the final in the 50-meter backstroke (in 26.21 seconds) in the 15-17 age group.

He competed with swimmers from nine countries in this category for the bronze medal and won with a time of 26.43 seconds. Previously, he renewed Mongolia's record of the 50 and 100 meter backstroke and breaststroke by five seconds at the 21st edition of the World Aquatics Championships held in Doha, Qatar, from February 2-18.
