The Capital City Governor’s Office and the Coordination Council for Crime Prevention have planned to install LED traffic lights near 135 schools in six central districts of Ulaanbaatar. Of these, 13 schools and kindergartens are currently equipped with LED lighting. For example, schools No. 20, 38, 47, 118, 141, and “Setgemj” in Bayangol District had these lights installed. 

Also, the LED traffic lights have been installed near schools No. 49, 57, 138, 139, and 140 in Chingeltei District. In addition, the area around Kindergarten No. 44 and “Khangai” Complex School in Bayanzurkh District was included. Meanwhile, the work of installing LED lights on pedestrian crossings near Schools No. 37 and No. 24 in Chingeltei District is currently ongoing and will be completed very soon. This work is being implemented to prevent traffic accidents.
