Nurse onboarding program launched

A training program for onboarding new nurses into their workplace has been developed and approved, with the initial training conducted at the Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center of Orkhon Province. Specifically, since 2021, the Ministry of Health and the National Center for Health Development have been collaborating with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on a project to improve postgraduate training for doctors and nurses. This project, which will continue until the end of this year, has resulted in the creation of the training program mentioned above. The program aims to help integrate new nurses into their organizations, prepare them psychologically, and support their stable and productive work performance.

It is noteworthy that there are over 14,000 nurses working in the healthcare sector as of today. There is also data which indicates that each year, approximately 700 new nurses graduate and enter the workforce.
