Mongolian contemporary artworks featured at NordArt 2016

Mongolian artists are currently presenting their artworks at the NordArt, one of the largest juried exhibition of contemporary art in Europe, representing all facets of visual arts. The annual international exhibition of visual arts, NordArt, is taking place from June 4 to October 9 in Kunstwerk Carlshutte, Germany, and is showcasing a comprehensive panorama of contemporary art by some 200 international artists, selected by a jury. Along with chief curator of NordArt Wolfgang Gramm, O.Oyuntuya is working as the curator for the Mongolian exhibition, which features around 50 artworks by 17 Mongolian artists, under the theme “Tradition and Modern Age”. NordArt 2016 Programme flyer NordArt 2016 Programme flyer[/caption] The NordArt exhibition area includes the former Carlshutte foundry (22,000 square meters), the ACO Wagenremise (400 square meters), as well as the historical park (80,000 square meters) and public areas of Budelsdorf town. The opening ceremony of the NordArt was held on June 4, with more than artworks at the NordArt, one of the largest juried exhibition of 3,000 visitors, international artist and members of the press in attendance. The Kunstwerk Carlshutte, a non-profit cultural initiative, has been annually organizing the NordArt during summer months. The NordArt is recognized as one of the largest exhibitions of contemporary art in Europe.
