The American Corner will present David Lynch’s “Mulholland Drive” for its June film pick.
The 2001 American neo-noir mystery presents plenty of twist of events with an amazing cast, including Justin Theroux, Naomi Watts, Laura Harring, Ann Miller, and Robert Forster. In this complex tale of suspense, set in the unreal universe of Los Angeles, writer and director David Lynch explores the city's schizophrenic nature, an uneasy blend of innocence and corruption, love and loneliness, and beauty and depravity.
An open discussion on LGBT rights will also take place on the same day as the American Corner has decided to dedicate every Wednesday for LGBT rights.
