The General Election Commission has announced the preliminary results of the parliamentary elections as of midnight at the official press conference. According to preliminary results, the Mongolian People’s Party won 63 seats with a majority of votes, the Democratic Party won in 11 electoral districts and the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party took 1 seat. One independent candidate was victorious in the 2016 parliamentary elections. Final election results are expected to be announced tomorrow, reports the General Election Commission.
