The third Northeast Asian Mayors' Forum has been scheduled in Ulaanbaatar on August 4 and 5, under the theme “Production, Supply and Tendencies of Cities”. As a part of the forum, an exhibition promoting energy saving advanced technology products will be held at Chinggis Square on August 3 to 5.  Registration for entities and citizens who are interested in attending the exhibition is being carried out by the Ulaanbaatar Air Quality Department. The first forum of Northeast Asian Mayors was held in Ulaanbaatar in 2014, upon the initiative of Ulaanbaatar Mayor E.Bat-Uul, approving a general plan to develop Ulaanbaatar through 2030, large target projects, and new initiatives for development. The 2015 forum was hosted in Ulaanbaatar under the theme "Green City Development", which was anticipated on a regional level by the United Nations Conference on Climate Change. During the first forum, the attendees agreed to expand regional cooperation and to hold the Northeast Asian Mayors' Forum annually.
