This year’s Star of Fame will be awarded to Haranga, one of Mongolia’s first har rock bands, on July 30 at the Central Cultural Palace. The concert of honor for Haranga will be performed on July 30 at Chinggis Square at 9:00 p.m. During the concert, Haranga will perform its hit songs. Icons of Mongolian rock and pop music will participate in the concert. The Star of Fame award ceremony is one of the largest events being organized under the Friendly Ulaanbaatar program. The Star of Fame aims to glorify artists and bands who have made valuable contributions to the world of rock and pop of in Mongolia. The first Star of Fame was awarded to Soyol-Erdene band last year.
