Mongolian female freestyle wrestlers left for Brazil on August 4 to compete in the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games, which will start today in Rio de Janeiro. Ten Mongolian wrestlers will compete in the freestyle wrestling tournament of Rio 2016. The women’s freestyle wrestling team is being led by State Honored Coach B.Batbayar, coach Z.Duvchin, and coach T.Sukhbaatar. Silver medalist of the World Championship E.Sumiya, International Sports Master P.Orkhon, two-time world champion S.Battsetseg, and three-time world bronze medalist O.Nasanburmaa have qualified to compete in the women’s freestyle wrestling competition of the Rio 2016 Olympics. Mongolian male freestyle wrestler will leave for Brazil on August 7. The freestyle wrestling tournament of Rio 2016 will start with Greco-Roman on August 17.
