Russian TV travel program to feature Ulaanbaatar

Artists of Russian broadcaster Channel One (1tv) will come to Mongolia and shoot its travel program “Neputevye Zametki” by the invitation of the Ulaanbaatar City Tourism Department. Russian television journalist, actor, author and presenter of the TV program “Neputevye Zametki” Dmitry Krylov will introduce Ulaanbaatar and popular tourist destinations near Ulaanbaatar through the TV program in Russian language. Mongolia offered to do a program about Ulaanbaatar during the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT), which took place in Russia in March. City authorities believe that Mongolia has a chance to expand its tourism through “Neputevye Zametki”. The Ulaanbaatar City Tourism Department highlighted that the state will not contribute financially to the Russian television channel, and that “Neputevye Zametki” will be financed by Mongolian tourism companies that serve to Russian travellers.
