A discussion on “Live from UB”, a documentary by American journalist Lauren Knapp, will take place at Cue+ Bar at Gegeenten Entertainment Center on August 12. “Live from UB” is a documentary film about national identity, globalization and the vibrant rock music scene in modern Mongolia. It follows the story of Mohanik, one of today’s most promising independent bands, as they create a new sound for their country, and discover what it means to be Mongolian today.
