The USD exchange rate, which started rising in late June to reach 2,215 MNT last Sunday, reached 2,275 MNT on August 16.

As of August 16, the exchange rate was set at 2,240 MNT against USD at Naiman Sharga currency exchange market. Commercial banks and currency exchange centers in Mongolia sold USD for 2,152 to 2,275 MNT.
