Prime Minister J.Erdenebat announced that his Cabinet has found a way to repay Development Bank’s 580 million USD debt without delay and without putting burdens on the economy. The Prime Minister made the statement during a city and province Citizen's Representative Council meeting on January 6. He also spoke about the Tavan Tolgoi mine, highlighting that Cabinet has drafted a plan for the project to provide maximum benefit to the economy, and will soon present their plan to Parliament. The Prime Minister reminded province administrators that preparation and procurement for infrastructure projects and other projects must begin soon, and that construction should start on April 1. J.Erdenebat also noted that delayed projects will be canceled, and that advances must be paid for future bids for projects.
