Mongolian Railways will establish a transport and logistical center at the Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone in Tianjin, China. State-owned Mongolian Railways has announced they will work with Chinese authorities to establish the center on an area of 10 hectares. The move to establish the center is reported to be a part of the government's 2013 "Increasing Channels to the Sea" decree. Mongolian Railways has begun the search for domestic companies seeking to expand their operations through an office located in the center. Domestic companies must fulfill three requirements to become a tenant: the company must not have any outstanding tax debt, it must be financially secure, and be able to carry out long-term, sustainable cooperation with Mongolian Railways.
