Mongolian rock band Nisvanis organizes the Nis Nis Fest every year on April 9. This year’s Nis Nis Fest will take place at the UB Palace in Bayangol District at 6:00 p.m. through 1:00 a.m. Mongolian live music bands The Lemons, Aravt, Rec On, Growl of Clown, Gaz21, Break the Cycle, Black Zip, Motorway, and Something’s Brewing will participate in this year’s event. Nisvanis, established in 1996, is one of the first rock bands of Mongolia. They are characterized by their unique sound which heavily leans toward the grunge and garage-rock movement. Nisvanis has been celebrating their birthday on April 9 since 1999. The special thing about this year’s event is that a lot of new generation rock bands will perform with them.
