On Friday, President Kh.Battulga toured the Ministry of Defense to oversee its operations. At the beginning of his tour, President Kh.Battulga, Minister of Defense B.Bat-Erdene and a head of the State Honorary Guards paid tribute to the state’s honorary white banner (peace symbol) and military black banner (wartime symbol), which were used during the Mongol Empire. During his visit, the President met with heads of the ministry’s departments to discuss the country’s defense policy. Head of the ministry’s Strategic Policy Planning Department Brigadier G.Saikhanbayar introduced the President to the operations of the ministry. G.Saikhanbayar stated that the ministry is executing its unified policy and working to increase the capacity of the country’s military, which regularly takes part in peacekeeping operations around the world.
