State heads and notable figures in key sectors of Mongolia paid tribute to the statue of Chinggis Khaan on the occasion of the 855^th anniversary of his birth, also known as National Pride Day, on Sunday. Prior to the tribute, President Kh.Battulga, Speaker of Parliament M.Enkhbold, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh, former presidents, and representatives of government, military, sports, arts, sciences, herders and recipients of the Order of Chinggis Khaan participated in a ceremony for the presentation of the Order of Chinggis Khaan. A traditional wrestling competition among 128 high ranking wrestlers took place in commemoration of Chinggis Khaan’s birth anniversary.
