The UB Post was first founded in 1996 and has since become Mongolia’s leading English-language news outlet. As part of the broader Mongol News Group, The UB Post provides comprehensive coverage of social, economic and political developments in Mongolia and elsewhere.
We aim to provide the public with information which draws upon the broader Mongolian media market, bringing English language material to a global audience.
In our special editions, we cover vital social and economic issues, drawing upon the knowledge of experts and the views of Mongolian citizens to develop a clear picture of contemporary Mongolian society.

Khash-Erdene Bayarsaikhan is the Deputy Editor of The UB Post. He first joined the team in March 2012 as a translator and was quickly promoted to business and economics journalist. In recognition of his achievements in elevating The UB Post’s standards and for his investigative stories about air pollution, he was promoted to editor in 2013, to senior editor in February 2017, and later to deputy editor in November 2017.
Khash-Erdene has a bachelor’s degree in international journalism from Zokhiomj Institute and studied in London, UK. Subsequently, he completed a Thomson Reuters news writing training program in 2012 and an International Labor Organization training program on labor rights in 2017 in Turin, Italy.
Dulguun Bayarsaikhan is the Associate Editor of The UB Post. She joined the team in January 2014 as a translator and was soon promoted to a journalist. She has written many investigative stories about issues in the society, education, health, and tourism fields of Mongolia and regularly interviews high-profile figures. She assumed to her current position as the Associate Editor in November 2017.
Dulguun earned her bachelor’s degree in Japanese Linguistics from the National University of Mongolia in June 2017. She is a fluent English, Japanese and Korean speaker.
Chintushig Boldsukh is a journalist at The UB Post pursuing his bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the National University of Mongolia.
He has been working as a journalist at The UB Post since 2016, mainly covering business and economics news. Chintushig is also a member of the United Nations Youth Advisory Panel who has had an active role in both participating and chairing Model United Nations conferences in Mongolia and abroad.
Bayarbat Turmunkh joined the team in 2016. He covers new stories on politics and writes editorial articles regarding current challenges and issues faced by the society such as corruption, health care, political systems, air pollution, drug abuse, and peer pressure.
Bayarbat earned a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the National University of Mongolia in 2009 and master’s degree in Computer Science from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology in 2011.
Following graduation in 2009, he began working as a researcher at the Research Center of Astronomy and Geophysics affiliate to the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and was transferred to the Embassy of Mongolia in Kuwait to work as an administrative assistant in 2013.
