The “Chinggis Khaan” exhibition on the Mongol Empire, Chinggis Khaan, and his descendants will be on view at Discovery Place in Charlotte, North Carolina, from November 19 to April 30, 2017. To promote the exhibition, the Embassy of Mongolia in the U.S., Discovery Place , and the members of the Mongolian community in Washington, D.C. are planning to organize a parade and cultural events in Charlotte from November 24 to 26. During the parade, people dressed as warriors of Chinggis Khaan, Chinggis Khaan's mother Oulen, and her children will walk along the route. Traditional Mongolian wrestling and archery tournaments will be organized, and Mongolian dancers and singers will also perform. The parade will travel from Discovery Place to Downtown Charlotte. The event's organizers encourage Mongolians in attendance to wear traditional clothes and participate in the parade and exhibition events.
