Fantastic night with fantastic orchestra

On March 25, I put on my prettiest dress and went to the Corporate Event Hall with full of excitement. Because there I would hear the soundtracks of my favorite movies, such as "Interstellar", "Schindler’s List", "Harry Potter", and "Batman", played by the orchestra. I was excitedly waiting for that day for days, so I arrived at the hall one hour and 30 minutes before the start of the concert. When I arrived, the clothes hanger area was empty, and there were few people here and there. There was also a buffet selling drink, water, and wine for the audience. While I was sitting on the chair and waiting for the concert, people kept coming one by one. If looking at them, I could see that most of them are young people aged between 20 to 40 and most of them were couples.

The concert was scheduled to start at 8:00 P.M., so everyone arrived on time, but there were a lot of people queuing up for the clothes hanger area, whether it was because the audience was late or because there were a few staff working in the clothes hanger area. While I was watching them, a foreigner approached me to ask me about the concert hall. She was American and came to Mongolia for short work trip. She said, she saw the information about the concert on Facebook, and when I asked her about how she is spending her time in Mongolia, she said, “I have been here for two months. This concert is the second concert which I am going to watch. Previously, I watched ‘Swan Lake’ at the State Opera and Ballet Theater in Mongolia. Now I am going to watch this orchestra. I am very excited. I liked Mongolian art performances very much.”

At 08:00 p.m., the curtain opened and the performance began. B.Naranzun was the presenter of this concert. He made a funny but light-hearted comment about Hans Zimmer and John Williams, the composers of the 10 pieces the orchestra played. D.Nyamdash was the conductor of the orchestra, and the concert began with a group of more than 30 people. The first tune played was the “Star Wars” soundtrack by composer John Williams. As the orchestra began to play, the excitement was palpable. As an orchestra, it was amazing. Fiddlers, brass players, violinists, they all played as one soul. After that, violinist B.Bilguun performed songs from “Pearl Harbor” as a solo, then the orchestra played “Memoirs of a Geisha”, “Interstellar”, and “Schindler's List” soundtracks.

After the orchestra played five movie soundtracks, it was time for a break and the musicians rested. But the audience stood in a long queue in the toilet. Meanwhile, the audience shared their impressions with laughter and joy.

After the break, the second half of the concert began. The first theme song played in the second half was the theme song from the “Batman” movie. Then the music from “Harry Potter”, our favorite childhood movie, was played. The longest-playing song and audience of this concert seemed to bring us back to our childhood. Then “Kung Fu Panda” animation, “James bond”, and at the end, the theme song of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie were played, and the wonderful concert lasted for more than two hours. It was interesting that while watching the concert, the plot of the movie was shown on the screen, and I was listening to the orchestra while watching it. Reliving some of the movies I had forgotten about back then was as intimate as reuniting with a childhood friend. Everyone leaving the hall could see the smiles on their faces as they had one of the best nights of their lives. On behalf of the audience, I would like to express my gratitude to Fantasia studio and orchestra for giving us such good feelings and memories.
