Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg met with the newly elected Head of the Council of Mongolians Abroad, S.Tserendemberel, Deputy Head N.Ganzorig, and General Secretary B.Munkhdelger. Minister B.Battsetseg expressed appreciation for the council's efforts to protect the interests of Mongolian citizens abroad and promote their history, culture, and customs. The dignitaries discussed specific plans for future work. The council members committed to addressing social issues faced by Mongolians abroad, improving access to government services, researching Mongolian families overseas, and supporting their eventual return to Mongolia. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Council of Mongolians Abroad, and in accordance, the conference of Mongolians Abroad was successfully held on August 2.
